Hueston Woods State Park  and Hueston Woods State nature Preserve feature over 12 miles of hiking trails ranging from easy half-mile loops to moderate treks through old-growth forests and along Acton Lake. The Park also contains approximately 18 miles of bridle trails and 25 miles of mountain bike trails which are shared use. 

Leashed dogs are allowed on the trails, with the exception of the Hueston Woods State Nature Preserve.
